  • Close gaps in your smile with dental bridges. If there are healthy teeth on either side of the gap, a bridge can be bonded to the existing teeth to restore your smile. Bridges are cared for with normal oral hygiene practices, making them easier to maintain than dentures and some other alternatives.
  • Prevent long-term jaw or mouth damage with dental implants or bridges. Missing teeth can cause health problems, such as loss of jawbone mass, shifting of other teeth, difficulty chewing, and speech issues. Both implants and bridges will help minimize the negative consequences of tooth loss.
  • Permanently replace missing teeth with dental implant procedures. Whether you need a single tooth replaced or full mouth dental implants, we will help make your smile the best it can be. Dental implants are low-maintenance and will improve oral and overall health.
  • When the pulp of the tooth becomes infected, it can cause pain and if not treated properly, it could cause lasting damage. The thought of having a root canal can be quite scary for those who are not familiar with the process. We will walk you through each step of the process so we can get you back on the path to recovery.

dental implant options

At Cooper Family Dentistry, we understand that there is no "one-size-fits-all" answer for dental implants. Each case is unique and requires a thorough exam and consultation before we decide the option that's right for you. Below, you'll find information concerning the two types of dental implants as well as an explanation of when they are appropriate.

traditional Implant

This type of implant requires surgery to insert the dental implant into the bone. After it heals, we'll go back in with a minor surgery to attach the abutment and crown or perform restoration. Traditional implants replace each individual tooth as needed and take about an hour to complete. We then install a healing cap that lasts for 6 months and, once you're fully healed, we place the permanent tooth.

All-on-four Implants

All-On-Four implants are a way to implant an entire row of teeth with only four implant posts. By strategically placing the titanium posts in your top and/or bottom jaw bone, we are able to replace your entire arch. All-On-Four implants take about 2.5 hours to complete. You'll wear dentures for 6 months to allow for proper healing before we place your permanent implant.
